FFT wins Victorian Export Award

Leading fibre-optic security systems company, Future Fibre Technologies (FFT), has won the Small to Medium Manufacturer Award at the 2009 Governor of Victoria Export Awards ceremony, held recently in Melbourne.

FFT also received a commendation in Victorian Export Award for Innovation Excellence category.

FF designs and manufactures fibre-optic intrusion detection systems which are used to protect sensitive sites including military bases, airports, petrochemical plants and refineries all over the world.

The company's patented technology can readily interface with a broad range of software, including CCTV systems, gates, plus a broad range of external devices and systems.

The Governor of Victoria Export Awards have been running for 30 years and showcase the achievements of Victoria's export sector.
