The strategic crime-prevention partnership was announced at the LockCase 2009 event for ASSA ABLOY customers and business partners, held in Brisbane on 4 August.
The objective of the partnership is to increase brand awareness and educate consumers on safety and security in order to prevent crime.
ASSA ABLOY has also announced it will reintroduce the Yale security brand into Australia in October 2009.
The company has created a Yale Australia website to support the products, and is also set to relaunch its Lockwood website, currently undergoing a facelift, in October.
2009 marks the 75th anniversary of the introduction of the Lockwood brand in Australia.
